This year has been an interesting year of new challenges and learning.
Among some of the new areas of learning and training have been Promethean Boards and their ActivSoftware. I attended a two day training on this topic and am now sharing this information with teachers in ESA 5. It is an exciting new tool for teachers and students and I am loving learning about this interactive white board technology.
Learning how to use nettrekker and sharing this information with schools has also been new topic of learning for me. Wow, what a great tool for teachers!
Co-presenting with Penny Adams, a Teacher Academy of mostly secondary teachers, on the topic of Instructional Strategies Using Technology has been a great learning experience. Our last session is on February 18th.
Leading districts through the process of developing Professional Development plans has been effective and rewarding work this year.
